Meteor Education partners with fast-growth school districts across Texas to create research-based learning environments backed by long-term financial stewardship and measurable student impact. In a time of fluctuating budgets, enrollment shifts, and increasing competition for students, we help districts make strategic, data-informed decisions that strengthen both learning environments and financial stability.
While furniture may often be the entry point for our work, Meteor provides districts with a full turnkey approach to strengthening their learning spaces—assessment of current environments, design services, long-term budgeting and purchasing strategy, white glove installation, and measurement of student impact. Through our collaborative design process, Meteor works alongside district leaders and educators to ensure every space aligns with instructional goals and desired student outcomes.
In communities experiencing rapid enrollment increases, this holistic approach ensures that facility decisions made today remain adaptable and instructionally relevant for decades, even as they navigate the complexity of shifting demands.
A Fast-Growing Community with a Future Ready Vision
Georgetown ISD is emblematic of the challenges and opportunities present in Texas’s fast-growth districts. Some thirty miles north of Austin, Georgetown has emerged from a small suburban town into one of the region’s fastest-expanding cities, welcoming new families and businesses at a pace that puts significant strain on educational facilities. With more than 13,000 students and enrollment climbing, GISD needed a scalable, cost-effective approach to Career and Technical Education that would modernize their programs and equip students for the evolving workforce needs of the community.
