Delivering excellence in education rests at the heart of what we do in Tomball Independent School District and all across the 68 member school districts that comprise our Fast Growth School Coalition. 

Back in Tomball ISD where I serve as Superintendent, we believe our students are leading in “Creating the Future!” In many ways that’s exactly what our Fast Growth School Coalition and member districts are committed to do, as well. 

Texas public schools are the future of Texas, and our fastest growing school districts set a high bar for delivering excellence to our students, teachers, and communities. Fast growth districts are “destination districts,” attracting families and businesses to put down roots, grow, and prosper. 

Rapid economic growth, business expansion, and dramatic increases in population pose significant and serious challenges for our public schools and the students they serve. 

Necessary and critical classroom facilities, personnel, infrastructure, and ongoing operational costs associated with supporting more and more students every year require state investment, something that’s been significantly lacking in recent years. Many of our fast-growth districts receive little facilities funding from the state to help keep pace with the schools needed to house and educate these Texas public school students. 

Fast Growth School Coalition elevates these challenges and opportunities, advocating that state investment in our public schools is not only smart but also essential to the future of our state.  

The Fast Growth School Coalition stands on the front lines at the Capitol, advocating for smart-minded solutions to the school facilities and general public education funding challenges Texas’ public schools.

Creating the future of Texas means investing in that future. Our fast growth districts are not only educating students for college and careers, we’re driving economic growth as some of our communities’ largest employers. The direct and indirect impact of building and maintaining our school facilities creates additional jobs and new investments in our communities, as well.
