The Senate and House education leaders will talk with Dr. Greg Smith about their decision to step away from the Legislature, their work together to forge landmark school finance reform and what they see as the biggest challenges their successors will face when the Texas Legislature reconvenes in 2023. As Dr. Smith told The Dallas Morning News recently, “They (Taylor and Huberty) were listening and taking it all in and trying to do what was in the best interest of all children all over the state. That’s a rare breed of cat.” We’re thrilled to have these two leaders join us for a lively conversation and your questions.
